The app stores your verse selections and preferences locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to us or any third party, except as described below for Bible text retrieval.

Third-Party Services

The app uses API.Bible (operated by American Bible Society) to retrieve Bible verse text for certain translations (NIV, NKJV, NLT). When you browse or select verses from these translations:

• Your device connects to API.Bible's servers to fetch verse content
• API.Bible may log standard technical information (IP address, request timestamps) according to their privacy policy
• We do not have access to this data

The King James Version (KJV) is stored entirely offline within the app and requires no network connection.

Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device, including:

• Your selected Bible verses
• Widget theme preferences
• Proverbs of the Day settings
• Rotation frequency settings

This data syncs between the main app and widget using iOS App Groups, but never leaves your device.

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties. The app does not contain advertising or analytics.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages and contains no inappropriate content.
