How do I add the widget to my home screen?

Long press on your home screen, tap the "+" button in the top corner, search for "Bible Verse", choose a widget size, and tap "Add Widget".

How do I add the widget to my lock screen?

Long press on your lock screen, tap "Customize", select the lock screen, tap the widget area below the time, then search for "Bible Verse" and add it.

Why isn't my widget updating?

iOS controls when widgets refresh. Opening the app will force a refresh. Make sure you have a rotation frequency set in Settings if you want verses to rotate automatically.

Which Bible translations are available?

The app includes KJV (offline), NIV, NKJV, and NLT. KJV works without an internet connection; other translations require internet access.

What is Proverbs of the Day?

When enabled, the app automatically displays verses from the Proverbs chapter matching the current day of the month (e.g., Proverbs 19 on the 19th), alternating with your selected verses.
